It is made up of staffing facilities, dressing rooms, offices and meeting rooms. The third functional part consist from the technical background of the building and is located on the ground floor. The object is designed as a wall system, built from sand-lime bricks km beta Sendvix and insulated with the ETICS thermal insulation made from mineral wool. Horizontal supporting structures are designed as reinforced concrete. The entire building is roofed with a flat roof. Wooden windows and doors are used in the building to fill the holes. Before the building is a parking lot for employees and visitors of the rehabilitation facility. The design respects the principles of barrier-free solutions. The bachelor thesis is elaborated in the form of a project documentation for the execution of the construction.

BACHELOR THESIS ABSTRAKT Name, Surname: Jana Račanová Supervisor: Bc. Zuzana Rodová M.Sc. Title: Instruments for evaluation of the structure of the day in the occupational therapy Abstract: The bachelor thesis is theoretical-practical. The thesis summarizes the basic information about the tools used in occupational therapy to evaluate the structure of the day and the areas related to it. It is the structure of the day that is important component in the occupational therapy assessment and together with the other areas assessed it allows the occupational therapist to take a holistic view of the patient. Assessing all of the factors that may be affecting an individual's health is essential for setting appropriate therapeutic plans and goals. Therefore, the theoretical part includes chapters dealing with concepts related to the structure of the day that should not be overlooked in occupational therapy practice. Basic concepts of the profession (occupation, activities, habits) as well as concepts such as participation, occupational balance, roles, etc. are described. At the same time, the work includes brief information about models that address the issue. The aim of the practical part is to translate one of the instruments, namely the Occupational Balance Questionnaire 11 (OBQ11), and to test it in a standard...

Title: The Role of an Occupational Therapist in Supporting Functional Communication for People with Expressive Aphasia Abstract: The bachelor thesis is theoretical and practical. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out what are the possibilities of supporting functional communication in patients with expressive phatic disorder by an occupational therapist as part of complex rehabilitation. The aim of the thesis is to find compensatory strategies and aids suitable for the development and improvement of self-sufficiency and communication functionality of patients with expressive aphasia, which will benefit both the patient, the client, and the entire interdisciplinary team. In the theoretical part of the thesis, aphasia is defined, its etiology and symptomatology are described. Furthermore, the classification of impaired communication skills according to the Boston Classification is presented. Malečková, Zuzana ; Nováková, Petra (advisor) ; Nováková, Olga (referee)
BACHELOR THESIS ABSTRACT Name, Surname: Zuzana Malečková Supervisor: Mgr. Petra Novotná Consultant: Bc. Aneta Křivánková Title: Occupational therapy in the rehabilitation of patients after fracture of the distal radius and hand Abstract: This is a theoretical-practical work. The theoretical part briefly describes the anatomy and kinesiology of the upper limb with a focus on the hand and wrist, and then presents a summary of the most common fractures in this body part. The last and the longest chapter is about the possibilities of occupational therapy for patients fractures of the distal radius and hand, especially in the period after removal of fixation. Occupational therapy has a very wide application for these patients. Functional disorders of the hand and wrist, which are a frequent complication of fracture treatment, are often closely related to the limitation of self-sufficiency and have a great impact on the patient's quality of life. The aim of the practical part is chosen and verify the occupational therapy methods for people with fractures of the distal radius and hand. This section contains case reports of three patients, two of whom suffered a distal radius fracture and one with fracture of the fifth metacarpal. Each case report contains a detailed initial and discharge examination with a focus...

Matoušová, Zita ; Vondrová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Hoidekrová, Kristýna (referee)
Author: Bc. Zita Matoušová Supervisor: Mgr. Kateřina Vondrová Title: The Influence of the Use of Modern Technologies on the Dexterity of the Hands of Healty Czech Adult Population Abstract: Manual dexterity is activity, which is based on the ability to control the movement and strength of the fingers. Many aspects impact dexterity, including the use of modern technologies. These have become part of our daily lives and have changed the way we perform many activities. Therefore, I consider it important to address this context within occupational therapy. The main aim of this thesis is to determine whether there is a causal relationship between the use of modern technologies and manual dexterity in a healthy Czech adult population in the age range of 20 to 64 years. A secondary aim is to map the extent and pattern of modern technology use in the same research sample. In this pilot study 208 probands participated. Each proband completed a questionnaire. They were asked how much time they spend using a computer, mobile phone, tablet and how they use these electronics. After that, they were tested with the Nine Hole Peg Test. The analysis of the study sample was done based on the questionnaire. Pearson chi-square test was used to determine the relationship between the phenomena under study. At the set...
Occupational Therapy Practice Guidelines Proposal for Children Aged 3-18 with Developmental Coordination Disorder
Homolková, Simona ; Dvořáková, Petra (advisor) ; Angerová, Yvona (referee)
Thesis abstract Name, Surname: Bc. Simona Homolková Supervisor: Mgr. Petra Dvořáková Thesis Title: Occupational Therapy Practise Guidelines Proposal in Children aged 3-18 years with Developmental Coordination Disorder Abstract: Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) is a neurodevelopmental condition with a prevalence of 6 % among children in the population. The cause of this condition is unknown, but there are known risk factors, such as very low birth weight or maternal exposure to drugs and alcohol during pregnancy. Symptoms include coordination difficulties, impaired motor learning and planning, executive function challenges, and overall mental health vulnerabilities. Each child exhibits different manifestations, and comprehensive care is required, provided by an interprofessional team, which includes occupational therapists. Occupational therapists should base their practice on high-quality care standards. Just like in medicine, there are currently global trends in occupational therapy towards developing Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG), which are still lacking, especially in the field of occupational therapy. CPGs primarily serve to improve and standardize care. The main goal of this work is to create a proposal for clinical practice guidelines in occupational therapy for developmental...
Occupational Therapy practice guidelines in children with perinatal brachial plexus palsy.
Jurečková, Michala ; Dvořáková, Petra (advisor) ; Jelínková, Jana (referee)
Title: Occupational therapy practice guidelines in children with perinatal brachial plexus palsy Abstract: Neonatal brachial plexus palsy is a palsy of the upper limb caused by traction of the brachial plexus during birth. It affects about 1.5 cases per 1000 live births and requires complex treatment. The clinical picture depends on the severity of the nerve damage and the part of the plexus that is affected. An unified framework for the treatment and management of paresis improves communication and clinical decision making for further rehabilitation. Currently there is an absence of clinical guidelines on pediatric issues and to ensure the highest quality of care, there is a need to develop them and find the best solutions to the problem. Clinical guidelines improve the quality of healthcare and reduce the variety of procedures and methods in clinical practice. The aim of this thesis is to develop a scheme for a clinical guidelines for diagnosis and intervention in children with neonatal brachial plexus palsy from birth to 7 years of age. A sub-objective is to review diagnostic tools and occupational therapy methods or procedures that appear in studies dealing with brachial plexus paresis and that can be used in occupational therapy practice. The thesis presents the issues of perinatal brachial plexus...
